Measuring thread quality of a nuclear reactor vessel
|
ARGON was asked to come up with a proposal to measure the quality of the thread inside the reactor vessel. These thread holes hold the 170mm diameter bolts that keep the 70cm thick steel lid on the reactor vessel. Together with IAC Instruments, a concept was developed. Electrabel currently studies the proposal.
