Rapid Response Reverse Engineering in Turkey
During short notice maintenance shutdown at a power plant, ARGON engineers traveled to Turkey for an on-site scan and reverse engineering.
Bruno Presezzi I is an engineering, mechanical processing and construction company located near Milan. The company offers its clients a complete service, from transformation and/or creation of the individual pieces to machines and complete units, including piping and tailor-made small parts.
Presezzi's client in Istanbul (Turkey) detected cracks in the casings of a steam turbine during a routine maintenance job. No drawings or other design information were available to order custom repairs. Within 3 days, 2 ARGON engineers were on-site with the necessary equipment and conducted the necessary measurements during an intense 7 day campaign. The CAD models as well as other relevant design information, were supplied to the client within one month.
